Golf Bag Push Cart

As many Americans are looking to lose weight and improve their overall health, many are turning to golf. Since the golf bag push cart has entered the scene, how the game of golf is played at the club level has drastically changed over the last decade.

With a golf bag push cart many players that are getting older or are not as strong as they once were can still enjoy walking the fairways of their golf course. With the assistance of golf push carts, they do not have the extra weight of the stand bag to wear them out. In addition, most of the current golf bag push carts have adjustable handles. This allows you to change the position of your hands as you push the cart and make it ergonomic for you alleviating strain on your back and in your shoulders.

During the 1990′s a popular walking cart was called the Rickshaw. It derived the name as it had two oversized wheels as does a rickshaw that is used in Asia. Once Sun Mountain released the golf bag push carts that they called speed carts towards the end of the decade, the Rickshaw had met their match and crashed.

With Tiger Woods introducing the game to golf fitness, many golfers have drastically changed their mind-set and are looking to become more fit in an effort to improve their game not only on the tours but at the club and public level of golf as well. Playing golf well and drinking are not as synonymous as they once were. Today you are more likely to find that person with a twelve pound dumbbell instead of a twelve ounce mug in their hand!

Here is a real life example of how the thought of golf fitness and the golf bag push cart has changed the game. In 1998 I was running a Country Club in the south. Every Tuesday we had right at one hundred ladies show up for Ladies Day and we needed fifty riding carts. By 2006, we only needed to pull the fifty carts out so they could get to their hole in time for the shotgun! Over forty of them would ride out to their starting hole, pull off their golf bag push cart, walk eighteen holes and ride back to the clubhouse once completed!

Manufacturers not only offer these units in various colors, depending on which walking golf bag push cart that you are looking at it can also include grass-seed holders, umbrella holders, drink holders and special places for valuables and apparel and paraphernalia.
